A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter was founded by passionate volunteers determined to provide care and find loving homes for homeless animals. Over the years, our mission has remained steadfast—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs, cats, and small animals. We also offer comprehensive veterinary services and professional training programs to ensure every pet has the best chance at a healthy, happy life.

Medical Services
Our Community Clinic provides affordable wellness care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries with compassion and a commitment to our community. Since 2009, we’ve performed over 10,000 life-saving spay/neuter procedures—improving pet health, preventing overpopulation, and creating a healthier future.
Behavioral Training
Our training programs, in partnership with Positive Solutions for A Sound Beginning NFP, focus on positive reinforcement techniques to build trust and confidence in pets. Whether it's puppy classes or specialized behavioral consultations, we help pets and owners form strong, lasting bonds.
Crisis Assistance
Through our Blessed Bonds program and community outreach efforts, we provide temporary care and support for families in crisis, ensuring pets can remain with their loved ones whenever possible.

No. Some are puppies or kittens starting their lives, while others had previous owners. Many are already familiar with home life and training. All are loving and adaptable companions.
Yes, we accept all major credit cards.
About 25% of shelter pets are purebred. Check our website or speak with an adoption counselor to find the right pet for you.
Typically 2-3 days.

Dogs:
- Puppies (<4 months): $525
- Puppies (4 months - 1 year): $475
- Adults (1-6 years): $350
- Seniors (7+ years): $250
- Special Breeds $500 and up
Cats:
- Kittens (<1 year): $175 (Pair: $300)
- Adults (1-7 years): $100 (Pair: $150)
- Seniors (7+ years): $75 (Pair: $100)
- Special Breeds: $200+
- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Wed and Thursday: Closed
- Sat, Sun: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be 21+ years old with ID
- All household members must be present
- Pets must be indoor companions
- All pets in the household must be altered and current on vaccines
- Dog introduction if you have a dog and are adding an additional one to your home
- Spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip
- Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, heartworm testing/prevention, Harness
- Puppies: All age appropriate vaccinations and heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, Harness and puppy training class at A.D.O.P.T.’s Training Center
- Cats: Rabies, Distemper, Feline Leukemia/FIV testing
- Kittens: All age appropriate vaccinations and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing
