Animals Deserving Of Proper Treatment
A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, "no-kill", non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. Finding homes for our voiceless animals is a priority for us.

Cat of the week: Carmela
Carmela is a 5 year old buff & white tabby mix who came to us from animal control in October of 2010. She is a quiet, affectionate cat deserving of a home of her own. She has been overlooked for too long, perhaps because she is a quieter cat and waiting for someone else to make the first move. Come to A.D.O.P.T. and ask to meet this beautiful girl. She can be found in the Annex.

Dog of the Week: Benny
Benny is a 6 year old beagle who came to us from an Indiana shelter in December of 2012. He is a favorite at the shelter. Volunteers love to sit in his kennel and shower him with love & affection. He loves the attention & just melts in their laps. Benny has a sweet disposition but has some medical issues. Benny is easy to handle on walks. He’ll keep at your pace while his nose is on the ground picking up scents.
