Animals Deserving Of Proper Treatment
A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, "no-kill", non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. Finding homes for our voiceless animals is a priority for us.

Cat of the week: Evergreen
Evergreen is an almost 2 year old Domestic Short Hair, Brown Tiger. Evergreen came to A.D.O.P.T. from Naperville Animal Control December 2011. Evergreen is a "perky little lady" who prefers the company of people but will tolerate other cats - however, don't expect her to love them. If you can offer her as much love as she has to offer you - come visit her in the Sun Room. I guarantee you will fall in love with this petite ball of fire.

Dog of the Week: Si Mui & Emmy
Si Mui & Emmy are 3 & 2 year old Chihuahuas. The duo came to A.D.O.P.T. a month ago because one of the family members had allergies. These two are the friendliest Chihuahuas you’ll ever meet! They love each other as much as they love other people. With that said, we’d like to adopt them out together. Their happiness is contagious. They are active and playful and love to go on walks. Si Mui is the darker colored pup while Emmy looks more like a Spanish croquette. These two are quite the pair. More about Emmy & Si Mui
