Setting up your firstgiving page is fast and easy! Doing this will allow you to collect pledges for the walkathon Just follow these simple steps and you will be on your way to collecting funds! 1. Click on this link www.firstgiving.com/adoptpetshelter 2. Click on the get started link
3. Enter your email, and register your account. 4 At this point you choose if you are part of a team or raising funds as an individual
5. In this example we are going to raise funds as an individual, when you click that button it will take you to the create your fundraising page 6. Choose your page name normally you use your name or your pets name but feel free to be creative (In the example it is the 1st initials of my pets names) 7. Now is when you get to show your creativity!

8. This next part you can add any money you have collected offline to move your fundraising progress bar along.
Don`t forgot to add a special thank you in your donation confirmation that will be sent to anyone who makes a pledge to you for the walk! 9. Thats it you now have a page you can start emailing out to your friends, family, and co-workers. Firstgiving gives you a link to your page and you can also use their emailing feature.
