How to Adopt
A copy of our Adoption Form is online. You can print one, fill it out and bring it with you when you come to look at animals.
Click here for map and directions.
We do not accept checks for adoption fees. We accept cash and credit cards (Visa or MasterCard) only.
Please bring two forms of identification, one of which should be a picture ID. If the address on the ID and check are not the same or current, please provide some other proof of residence such as a utility bill, etc.
Please expect a wait of anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours when you come to our shelter to adopt a dog. Most days, we are very busy and our adoption counselors are volunteers. We will do our best to meet with you as soon as possible.
ADOPT now has a “Fee Assistance Policy” posted and available at our shelter.
Thank you for your cooperation!
