Volunteers In Action

On May 10, the “RED” army from Keller-Williams Realty spent the day scrubbing, grooming, weeding, mulching, vacuuming, washing, organizing, tablulating, cleaning, folding, mopping and anything else they could do to help the shelter shine as part of their RED (Renew, Energize, Donate) Day.  Each year, Keller-Williams closes its offices nationwide for one day to enable its staff to give back to the community in whatever way them deem most appropriate.  Our friends at Keller-Williams chose A.D.O.P.T. as their agency of choice and more than 30 volunteers worked from 8a.m. until after 5p.m. with only one goal in mind…”get my work done so I can play with the animals!!” From all of us, dogs and cats, kittens and puppies, staff, volunteers, members, and friends of A.D.O.P.T., our heartfelt thanks for your time, sweat equity and belief in what we do.

Spring 2012

Special thanks to the ladies of UTi/Panasonic who gave up their Saturday to help prepare the shelter for summer, including stringing up the protective sunscreen netting out in the dog runs.  Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll be adopting out one of their own!
